Perth visit February 2010

A much needed holiday staying with family in Perth Australia. Perth's old port is graced by a glittering tower housing 18 bells from St Martin in the fields, a gift for Australia's bicentenary. Called the Swan Bell House named after the Swan River. Perth covers the plain of the Swan river and borders the Indian ocean home to 1.5 million. Most of the tower blocks are home to Perth's financial markets. The Swan river is so called after its native black swans.
